The workspace
The frame around every screen: the navigation on the left, the controls along the top, and the page you are working on in the middle.
What this is
Every screen in Sparkia sits inside the same frame. The list on the left is how you move around, the bar along the top holds search and the things you check often, and your page fills the rest.
The left-hand list changes shape depending on where you are. Outside a brand it shows your brands and your organization. Once you open a brand, it becomes that brand's own workspace and every link inside it stays on that brand.
Why it changes
Almost everything in Sparkia belongs to one brand: its calendar, its automations, its knowledge. Rather than making you pick a brand on every page, the workspace follows the brand you are looking at.
The screen, part by part
The workspace inside a brand. Hover a number to read what that part is for.
Whichever page you are on fills this space.
The top bar
Four things sit on the right of the top bar, and each one answers a question you ask often.
| Control | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Language | Switches between English and French. It changes the whole product, this guide included. |
| Appearance | Light or dark. It is remembered on this device. |
| Automations running | Automations in flight. Open it to see how far along each one is, or to stop one. |
| Notifications | Alerts: a run that finished, credits running low, a post waiting for review, an invitation. |
Search and jumping around
The search bar in the top bar opens a box you can also open from the keyboard: Cmd K on a Mac, Ctrl K on Windows. It does two jobs at once.
With nothing typed, it lists the pages you can jump to. Type two letters or more and it also searches your brands, your automations and your runs by name. Arrow keys move, Enter goes, Escape closes.
The credits meter
At the foot of the navigation list, a small card shows how many credits your organization has left this month against its total. Every automation run costs credits.
The bar turns amber when a third or less is left, and red at a tenth or less. That is your cue to spend the rest deliberately, or to ask whoever owns the plan for more.
Making room
The navigation list collapses to a narrow strip of icons, either from the button at the far left of the top bar or by dragging its edge. Labels become tooltips when you hover. Sparkia remembers the choice.
On a phone the list is not a column at all: it slides in over the page and closes itself once you pick something.
