The visual editor
A design tool for the image that goes with a post. It has no page of its own: it opens over whatever you were looking at, and saves back there.
Where it opens from
Three places, and where it saves to depends on which one you came from.
| Opened from | What saving does |
|---|---|
| A design in chat | Edit in Visual Editor on a design preview card. |
| A run's result | Edit Design on any result with a design. A single post opens one image; a carousel opens one slide at a time, with arrows and a thumbnail strip, and Save All writes every changed slide back at once. |
| A calendar post | Editing the design of a post already scheduled. This is the only entry point where the export dialog offers Save to Post. |
How it is arranged
Three regions: Layers on the left, the canvas in the middle, and Properties and Assets on the right. Both sidebars collapse when you want the canvas bigger.
| Region | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Layers | Every object on the canvas, topmost first. Rename by double-clicking. Each row can be hidden, locked or deleted, and a locked layer cannot be selected or moved. |
| Canvas | The design at its true pixel size, scaled to fit. The zoom control goes from 10 to 500 percent, with Fit to Screen. |
| Properties | With nothing selected, the canvas background: solid or gradient, plus a background image. With something selected, its position, size, rotation, fill, stroke and opacity, and for text also font, size, weight and alignment. |
| Assets | The brand's image library, searchable and filterable by type. Clicking one adds it to the canvas. |
Working in it
Select with the pointer, or pick the text, shape, draw or pan tool. Undo and redo cover everything, including background and layer changes.
Resizing and exporting
Resize Canvas offers platform presets, grouped by network, or a custom size between 100 and 4096 pixels with an optional aspect ratio lock.
