Social analytics
Performance across every connected platform: the totals, how they moved, which posts did best, and when the audience is actually there.
/brands/{brand}/social/analyticsAnyone with access to the brand can read it. Syncing metrics needs Manager or Owner.
What is on the page
Four figures, then six charts and a table, all covering the period chosen at the top: 7, 30 or 90 days, or six months.
| Section | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Total Reach, Engagement Rate, Total Likes, Total Comments | Each against the previous period of the same length. |
| Engagement Over Time | Likes, comments, shares and reach over the period. Reach starts hidden, because on a shared scale it flattens the other three into a line along the bottom. |
| Platform Breakdown | How posts were distributed across platforms. |
| Top Performing Posts | The best posts with their figures side by side, so a format or subject that worked is visible rather than inferred. |
| Peak Hours and Peak Days | Average engagement by hour and by weekday. This is the section that should change your schedule. |
| Hashtag Performance | Average engagement per hashtag, when the brand has enough hashtag history for it to mean anything. |
Keeping the numbers current
Figures come from the platforms on a schedule rather than on each page load, so a post published minutes ago will not have its numbers yet.
Sync metrics pulls fresh figures for recently published posts. Use it before a review rather than trusting whatever the last sweep collected.
A connection missing the insights permission returns no performance data. That shows as a note on the engagement page rather than an error here, so an empty chart is worth checking against.
Worth knowing
The period choice carries between here and the social overview, so switching pages does not reset your window.
Every comparison is against the immediately preceding period of the same length, not the same period last year.
Engagement rate is a proportion, so a small account with an engaged audience can and often does beat a larger one on this page.
