Catalogue
Everything a brand sells, products and services side by side. The catalogue is also where content generation gets its raw material: pick a few items and turn them into a post, a carousel, a video script or a month of calendar entries.
How it is laid out
Two tabs, Products and Services, each with a count beside its name. They behave identically; only the noun changes. The open tab lives in the address, so a link to either one survives a reload and can be shared.
Under the tabs sit a search box, a line reading how many items are showing out of the total, and a grid of cards. Each card carries a thumbnail, the item's name, its category, a Featured badge where it applies, two lines of description and a price range.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search box | Filters by name, short description and category as you type. |
| Add Product / Add Service | Opens the form for a new item. Shown to Editor, Manager and Owner. |
| Card checkbox | Appears on hover, or permanently once anything is selected. Builds the set you generate from. |
| Card menu | Three dots on hover: Edit, Add or Remove from Featured, Delete. Shown to Editor, Manager and Owner. |
| Load more | Pulls the next twenty items. Hidden while a search term is typed. |

Finding an item
Search runs in the browser, over the items already on the page. The catalogue loads twenty at a time, so an item further down a long list will not appear in a search until Load more has pulled it in.
Featured items
Featured marks an item as a priority for content generation. Automations that pick their own subject reach for featured items first, so it is the lever for saying lead with this one without writing a brief every time.
Generating from a selection
Tick a few items and a bar appears at the foot of the screen with the four catalogue automations on it: Single post, Carousel, Video script and Content calendar. Picking one opens a short form rather than starting anything straight away.
| Field | What it asks for |
|---|---|
| Items | Read-only, one badge per item you ticked, so you can see exactly what the run will work from. |
| What should this be about? | Required, pre-filled with a sentence naming your items. Rewrite it: this is the brief, and it is what makes the difference between a generic post and a useful one. |
| A few settings | Only the handful that matter for this automation, for example language, platform and tone, slides for a carousel, or duration for a video script. Everything else keeps its default. |
An automation that does not fit the current selection stays visible but greyed, with the reason on hover, rather than disappearing. That way you can see what to change instead of wondering where it went.
| Rule | When you see it |
|---|---|
| Needs exactly one item | Single post and Video script each work from one item. |
| Needs at least two items | A carousel needs at least two, and takes at most ten. |
| Too many items selected | The selection is above that automation's maximum. |
Adding and editing items
A card opens the item's own page, where its name, description, price, photos, selling points and category can all be edited. Add Product and Add Service open the same form empty.
